Remnants of An Ancient Ship

You are invited to explore a salvaged vessel, washed up on the shores of Northeastern Florida coast, a hop, skip and a jump from the adventurous Amelia Island. While lulled to sleep as you dream of pirates and swashbucklers, your  fingers touch the textures of an old treasure chest filling the hulls of this sunken vessel.  Select the CC closed-caption feature, so you can read all the details of this time-sensitive discovery. Enjoy.

"River of Grass"..... Why Florida's wetland is named such

'....protects the largest sawgrass stand, preserves the largest dwarf Cyprus prairie, the largest coastal mangrove forest, and the largest wilderness area east of the Rocky Mountains, and an estuary of national significance in our state's bay....'  'a fountain of renewal, refuge, a place to rekindle our ... instincts'
